Lots of exstras

In mid-march during preparations for spring and summer shooting, Penelope Film had a search for adult extras for the movie Yohan.
Arild Gulbrandsen was among the 160 people who showed up in Kristiansand and Arendal wanting to be an extra in the movie. Both young and old thought it would be exiting to be part of it, and the local media was there to cover the event.
Penelope film hosted two evenings where they greeted individuals who were interested in being extras for the big crowd scenes in the film. They were in Kristiansand on March 5th and in Arendal the following day. Many thought that it would be exiting to see how a movie is made. Some of the people who signed up had previously been extras in Kamilla and the Thief, like Arild Gulbrandsen who you can see pictured above at Arendal Library being interviewed by Agderpostens Unni Kristine Djønne.

During a pause in rehearsals for Peer Gynt nearby, Dennis Storhøi, who portrays Johannes in Yohan, decided to stop by the casting session in Arendal. He shared with the many hopefuls who were there that he too started out as an extra at the age of 17. Pictured below with casting director Aase Helene Røinaas who was very pleased with the results.
