Kyle Callanan, aging expert

Kyle Callanan from Wanaka in New Zeland was part of the production of Yohan as a consultant on aging of the costumes used in YOHAN. Penelope Film wants the movie to be authentic down to the last detail.

Kyle knows the art of making newly made clothes look old and have them look like something that would have been worn in the 19^th century. Working with costume designer Kari Kleiv at Penelope, he washed and treated the clothes with various techniques and chemicals to make them look just right.

In 2007 Kyle worked with costumes for the movie production International 2007, where he learned a lot from costume designer Ngila Dixon. She is best known for her work on the Lord of the Rings movies, for which she won an Academy Award.

Today Kyle is living in Berlin, He was a student at the Massey University in New Zealand where he got a diploma in fashion and textiles in 2005.
